Welcome to AMORA!
Amora Africa exists to support disadvantaged children, youth and families in urban areas

We care about Home Managers.
Working with this important category of caregivers is a great focus of our child care and Early Childhood Development (ECD) work. This involves recognizing their vital role in caregiving, cleaning, doing errands and general home management. We do this through advocating for fair treatment, decent pay, reasonable working hours, allowing them time off, providing them safe working and living conditions, providing them clear contracts and adherence to labor laws.
Like other workers, they need full legal protection from all forms of exploitation, even as organizations like the ILO advocate for Decent Work principles to formalize and value this work.
Our core focus is to make them the best caregivers for the children under their care and the best home managers. We are partnering with like-minded organisations to provide research and evidence, conduct training and access psychosocial and other support services to the target home managers alongside their employers and the local authorities.
Why work with AMORA?We aim to offer self sustainting support to our targets teaching them how to fish rather that just https://amoraafrica.com/providing fish. We achieve this byTraining youth on various skills and all our targets by encouraging self learning through a reading culture.
As an organisation, AMORA through local partnership, we engage in income generating activities to support our WORK. Come support OUR TAILORING WORKSHOP & STATIONERY/PRINT SHOP
